2018 SSPC Annual Meeting 

The 2018 Society for Study of Psychiatry and Culture (SSPC) annual meeting was held April 19‐21, 2018 at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, University of San Diego, San Diego, CA.

The meeting critically explored the implicit (or explicit) definitions of culture that are being used in current mental health research and practice.  

UCSD-CGMH Symposium

Day one of the conference, a symposium was led by CGMH Executive and Advisory Committee Members: Olga Olivas, Janis Jenkins, Thomas Csordas and David Grelotti. The symposium is entitled "Culture and ecological context in global mental health: comparative studies from Mexico, Haiti, Italy, and the U.S."
